When the coach shows up

The AI coach shows up at exactly one moment in your round: the end. Not in the middle. We don't think you need a chatbot whispering in your ear over your tee shot, and we definitely don't think it would help.

Post-round recap

When you end a round, the recap loads on the round summary screen. It reads every shot you logged, your hole-by-hole scorecard, your recent sessions and club averages, handicap-stratified benchmarks for context, and your active goals. It produces a coach's-voice recap: bright spots (best hole, best shot, metrics beating average), damage (worst hole with the why), pattern vs trend (was today consistent or an outlier), goals met or missed, and 1–2 practice priorities for the week.

What data it reads

The recap reads your data directly from our database (server-side, with your permission via your authenticated session). It doesn't go through any third party. Specifically:

Post-round recap

  • Every shot you logged in this round
  • Hole-by-hole scorecard
  • Recent sessions and club averages for context
  • Handicap-stratified benchmarks
  • Active goals
  • Comparison to your previous round if relevant

Cost

The recap is included in your subscription. No usage caps, no per-call pricing, no surprise bills.

We log AI runs internally so we can monitor quality. None of this is shared externally. See Privacy & Data for what's stored and how deletion works.

Bring your own AI: the MCP server

The post-round recap is our AI coach. But your data is yours, and we want you to use it however you want. So we also expose an MCP server (Model Context Protocol) that lets you plug your golf data into your own ChatGPT, Claude, or any AI agent that supports MCP.

With MCP, you can ask things like:

  • "Which clubs am I dialed with this week?"
  • "Compare my last two range sessions and tell me what changed."
  • "What did I struggle with at the course I'm playing tomorrow?"
  • "Build me a 30-minute practice plan based on my worst clubs and my goals."

Your AI tool uses your AI subscription. Your data stays in your account. We don't stand between you and your tools.

Privacy posture

Your data is queried by the AI agents from our database via your authenticated session. We use Anthropic as the inference provider (no other AI vendors are in the loop). Anthropic's standard policy is that API calls are not used for model training. We don't share your data with anyone else.
