Practice & Launch Monitor
Import your launch monitor data, review every shot, and watch your club averages tighten over time. SkyTrak Plus first; more devices on the way.
Importing a SkyTrak session
Export your session as a CSV from the SkyTrak app and drag it into the Wandering Golf import view (web or desktop). One CSV becomes one session, even if you hit multiple clubs in the file. We figure out the per-club splits automatically and assign each shot a global shot number.
We preserve the raw CSV exactly as exported, so you can re-process any session later if our parser improves. Re-imports overwrite the normalized shot data without losing the original.
Sessions, shots, clubs
A session is one practice block (typically one CSV import). A shot belongs to a session and has every metric your launch monitor produced. A club is tracked per shot, not per session, because you'll switch clubs mid-session and we want the right club on the right shot.
You can flag individual shots as mishits, experiments, void, or warmup. Flagged shots are excluded from analytics by default but stay in the raw data.
Club analysis and gapping
Once you have a few sessions in, the analytics start being useful. Per-club averages, dispersion (standard deviation, not just mean), contact rate (how often you find center), trends over time, personal bests, peer benchmarks for your handicap level. We also do gapping analysis: are your clubs properly spaced or do you have overlaps and gaps in your bag?
All of these are available to query from your own AI tools too via the MCP server.
Other launch monitors
SkyTrak Plus is the first integration because we own one and use it daily. The schema and parser architecture are device-agnostic, so adding TrackMan, FlightScope, Garmin R10, and Full Swing Kit is a matter of writing each device's adapter. They're on the roadmap.
We commit to building first-party adapters for each launch monitor instead of relying on third-party tools. We research each device's actual protocol (CSV, USB, BLE, WiFi) and own the integration end-to-end.
